The easy upper arm blood pressure monitor

The Geratherm® easy med is a blood pressure monitor for the upper arm with a direct classification of the measured value according to the World Health Organization (WHO) rating system using a traffic light scale on the right side of the display. The blood pressure monitor can be operated with batteries or a mains adapter.

Yes, the Geratherm® easymed displays this. But be careful, the display indicates that a pulse irregularity as a result of an irregular heartbeat was detected during the measurement. This is usually not a cause for concern.

Yes, the batteries can be changed. 4x (AA) 1.5V alkaline batteries

 

Only use the power pack offered by Geratherm which is compatible with the device. You can purchase this from your specialist dealer.

ATTENTION! The product may only be operated with a medically approved, stabilized AC power pack (input: 230 V, AC, 50 Hz; output: 6 V, DC, 1 A).

A notice:
1. No batteries are required when operating with the power supply unit.
2. If the current flow from the AC adapter is interrupted during measurement, the sphygmomanometer must be reset by disconnecting the AC adapter from the sphygmomanometer.
3. Only use medically approved power supplies that meet the specifications in this manual. Using other power packs may damage your blood pressure monitor.

The measurement can be taken on the left as well as on the right arm. However, further measurements should always be taken on the same arm. Preferably on the arm where the higher blood pressure is to be measured.

Individual blood pressure changes several times a day. It is influenced by a wide variety of factors. Therefore, please make the measurements under the same conditions.

 

Please do not use this device if you are allergic to polyester, nylon or plastic.

Before using the device by pregnant women, consult a doctor and assess the suitability of the measuring method. In some cases there may be deviations in measurement. Pregnant women are therefore recommended to have regular check measurements carried out by their doctor, since the clinical validation was not carried out with pregnant women.

 

To clean the case, use a cloth dampened with water or neutral detergent, and then wipe dry. Avoid thinners, petrol and other aggressive cleaning agents.
